IPSS Projects Structural Engineering Support

In collaboration with IPSS Engineering, a Netherlands-based engineering firm, STAKERS provided technical and structural consultancy across a series of industrial infrastructure projects executed in Belgium. Our role spanned analysis, design support, structural rehabilitation, and technical drawing development for critical utility structures within active industrial environments.
Working as a remote engineering support partner, STAKERS ensured high-precision deliverables aligned with European structural standards, project-specific constraints, and the operational requirements of industrial clients.

Scope of Services:

• Structural design of steel pipe racks carrying industrial piping and cable trays
• Structural reinforcement and retrofitting of existing steel and concrete members
• Structural integrity assessment and safety reporting following equipment upgrades
• Preparation of shop drawing packages for complex steel assemblies

Notable Projects:

1. ATPC Plant (Belgium)

• Structural design of a steel pipe rack system for industrial utilities
• Design coordination with factory layout and load path optimization

2. Gadot Gent Facility

• Structural retrofitting and modification of existing steel and concrete pipe racks
• Engineering support to integrate updated utility routing within an operating plant

3. Crealis Facility

• Structural analysis and integrity assessment report following installation of a monorail system
• Documentation of load effects and capacity verification for building safety compliance

4. Imerys Black Carbon Expansion

• Development of the full shop drawing package for a new steel structure
• Coordination with fabrication and assembly standards for on-site installation
